Management Qualifications

Our qualifications programmes provide individual and organisational development opportunities as well as access to a wide range of professional qualifications.

We can offer qualifications to complement your role and recognise achievements as your career progresses. Qualifications range from Certificate and NVQ Level 3 programmes, in a broad cross-section of management subjects, to strategic levels – Diplomas and NVQ Level 5.

Our team of experienced Advisors and Assessors can advise individuals on the most appropriate qualification and routes for further study.

For those new to management or progressing to higher levels, the Certificate or Diploma programme may be most appropriate. For those who have been in their role for some time, who wish to have their competence recognised against the national standard, the NVQ route may be more appropriate. Whichever route is chosen, our team can provide guidance and support in developing a personal development plan. Underpinning Knowledge.

Tailored workshops provide opportunities to develop knowledge and skills to underpin competent performance by Managers. We can develop a series of workshops tailored to the needs of the organisation, the individual participants and the qualification awarding body.

In addition, our Open Workshops Programme, which continues throughout the year, can be accessed to meet individual needs.

Pre-work and post-workshop assignments are relevant and focused on what Managers need to learn and apply in their organisations.

Support

An Induction Session starts off the programme. Registration for qualifications with our partners and arrangements for accrediting prior achievement, learning and experience take place. We also help with applications for membership of relevant professional organisations.

Self-Assessment is an important principle in our programme as well as Action Planning.

Group development sessions are organised in addition to one-to-one Advisor support. Participants, supported by our Advisors and Assessors, usually achieve early accreditation of key units - which builds commitment to achieving the certified awards.

Access to our own and partners’ library facilities is encouraged and to our web-based e-learning tools.
