ITV Interview

Business Solutions Chief Executive, Christina Osborne, was invited to talk about Managing Your Boss (the title of her latest book) on ITV's The Week. Among the questions Phil Gayle asked:

What makes a good boss?

Someone who's very confident about their own abilities, knows what their strengths are and is prepared to select a team to cover their weaknesses and let them use their initiative.

Are foreigners better at being bosses than Brits? We seem to be inviting them all the time to come here - are Brits not up to it?

We've got a lot of British people who are up to it but we have an attitude to success that makes people afraid of failure - as a result we don't take risks so well.
